Today we published our new website. The result of several months of work, preparation, and design. This is the summary of a long project representing a complete rebranding of our business. But don’t worry – it’s still us, nothing has changed, we didn’t sell the company. The 21st century demands constant development, updates, and adaptation to changing trends and market standards. We needed a refresh and professionalization of our image.
How does the rebranding process work?
We made the decision to change and standardize our business identity in November of last year. This means the entire process took 5 months. We divided it into several key stages, and today we’d like to share with you the results and insights from each step toward building the identity that you can now see across our social media, website, and all business communications.
Consistency
The first and most important keyword that guided us through the entire process was “consistency.” Our goal was to achieve complete, uniform, and cohesive brand communication regardless of the source, location, or occasion. Until now, we had a logotype and color scheme, but it wasn’t standardized or consistent, and we communicated in whatever way suited the occasion. The time had come to unify this regardless of the occasion, location, or format. The first step in the transformation was planning.
Planning
At the very beginning of the entire overhaul, we decided to prepare a document describing what we do, who we are, where we’re headed, and what values characterize us. We asked ourselves several fundamental questions that helped us build the new branding:
- What services do we provide?
- What are our most important strengths?
- What values characterize our work?
- Who is the expected target audience of our services?
- What are the outcomes of our work?
- What color scheme should represent our brand?
- What style appeals to us?
- What do we want to include on our website?
- What materials do we need (business cards, letterhead)?
- Where will we use the results of our work?
- And most importantly – what should our new website communicate to potential clients?
Anyone planning to rebrand their business can answer these questions for themselves. The result was a 30-page document describing Spec od IT – who we are and what we want to communicate to the world through our presence.
Branding
With a ready strategy and a complete action plan, we proceeded to rebranding – standardizing our business and its online presence. A new logotype was created, along with a color palette, visual identity, and a concept for how our communication could look in posts and social media. The results of our work are shown in the images below:

Email signature
The entire set above constitutes our brand’s new BrandBook. This is how we will now identify ourselves to the world. You can see the email signature, business card, letterhead, and advertising billboard. A new logotype was established, along with a visual identity and brand color scheme. Everything is standardized and complete – and that was our main goal.
Website
After creating the brand book and standardizing our identity, we moved on to planning and implementing the website. Our goal was to convey all information about the services we provide and create a space to showcase our work results and a knowledge section that we’d like to share with visitors. We also had a very serious website optimization goal, as the previous one loaded very slowly and didn’t perform as well as you’d expect from an agency’s website.
Responsiveness – mobile version of the website
Research and analytics show that today, over 70% of users visit our site on their phones. For this reason, we wanted the website design to focus primarily on excellent mobile display. A separate version of the portal was prepared for this purpose, and the graphic design presented each subpage in its mobile version.
Implementation
Implementation and optimization of the website was entirely our responsibility. The implementation process took about 2 weeks and was continuously improved until we achieved full satisfaction with the final product. During implementation, we had full tester support, who verified the portal’s appearance and ensured that scripts and visual effects on the site functioned correctly. The final result can be viewed by browsing the website on both computer and phone. If you notice something that could be improved or changed on the site, we’re open to all feedback.
Beyond the website, we also needed to implement the branding, newly created brand identity, and new banners across all necessary channels. This includes the Google Business Profile, Facebook, LinkedIn, Behance, email signatures, invoices, and other brand communication elements.
